Built for the 2016 NYC Dirtbag Challenge. The challenge being to build a bike under 1000 dollars in one month that can run the 100 mile dirtbag route on dirtbag day.  This 1977 Yamaha DT175 was built in two weeks with parts in the shop, modified DT frame, front end was a modified unknown early 60's japanese front end. Rear wheel is a repurposed front wheel originating from a Harley Davidson VROD. Custom sprocket and adapters were machined to accomplish this. Late night inspiration birthed the goblin finger puppet tachometer.
